YOUR INFORMATION FOOTPRINT
Just as we advocate leaving minimal trace on mountain trails, Troviloroundupbd practices strict data minimization online. This policy explains what information is processed when you read our guides or send a trail note.
Effective Date: 1 January 2026
Data Controller: Trovilo Outdoor Media Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202138941K), 42A Arab Street, Kampong Glam, Singapore 199741.
1. Information Processed When You Browse
Troviloroundupbd (troviloroundupbd.asia) is a static informational website. You can read every trail guide, seasonal chart, and FAQ without registering an account or submitting personal details. Standard web server logs collect transient technical metadata—such as IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL, and timestamp—solely to maintain network security, prevent automated abuse, and diagnose broken links. Server logs are automatically rotated and deleted within 30 days.
2. Client-Side Trail Note Builder
On our Send a Trail Note page, the interactive text builder runs entirely inside your web browser using client-side JavaScript. Information typed into those fields is never automatically transmitted to a remote database. Personal data only reaches us if you voluntarily copy the generated text and send an email to [email protected].
3. Direct Email Correspondence
When you email our editorial desk with field updates, corrections, or privacy inquiries, we receive your email address, name, and the contents of your message. We use this information exclusively to reply to your inquiry and, if you grant permission, to verify trail condition notes. We never sell, rent, or trade contributor email addresses to third parties or marketing brokers.
4. Local Storage & Browser Preferences
We do not load third-party behavioural advertising pixels or cross-site tracking scripts. Any consent or display preferences stored in your browser’s `localStorage` remain on your device and are detailed on our Cookie Choices page.
5. Your Data Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act and the EU/UK GDPR), you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal correspondence you have sent to us. To exercise these rights, contact our Data Protection Officer at [email protected].
